Sarah
Pradt
Sarah, formerly on the faculties of the University
of Minnesota-Twin Cities and Macalester
College, works at HECUA [http://www.hecua.org], a consortium of liberal arts colleges and universities
offering off-campus study programs focusing
on social justice. She serves as the
Vice President of AdopSource. She holds
a Ph.D. in East
Asian Literature from Cornell University,
and was a Fulbright researcher in Japan
in 2002-03. In Fall 2007, she taught a
course at the University of MN-Twin Cities
that examined the origin and history of
the image of the geisha in Japanese culture,
and the persistent effects of that image
in U.S. culture. Sarah is parent to a daughter
adopted in China.
David Moline
David received his B.A. in Economics from Franklin & Marshall College, Lancaster, Pennsylvania. After spending two years in Bolivia with the Peace Corps, he went back to school and received his MBA from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota with a concentration in finance and strategic management. David serves as the Treasurer for AdopSource. He is a former Board member of the Resource Committee of Adopted Adults (RCAA) and volunteered as a mentor for the Children’s Home Society Mentee/Mentor Program. Currently, David works at Target Corporation as a Financial Analyst.
Summer Youngs
Summer received a college degree from Hennepin Technical College in Early Childhood Development. Summer serves as a board member and as the Chair of the Events and Membership Committee for AdopSource. She has served as a volunteer since 1995 for various adoptee organizations and is an active member of Korean Adoptee Ministry. She also volunteers for Children’s Home Society and Korean Quarterly Newspaper. Summer’s profession is a Childhood Development Teacher for the Veterans Neighborhood Medical Center.

Aron Spiess
Aron received a B.A in Secondary English Education and a minor in Technology from the University of Minnesota-Duluth. He serves as the Secretary of AdopSource. Spiess also serves as a board member on the long term planning committee of the Dragon Festival. Spiess volunteers for the Asian Pacific Cultural Center as the Web Developer and Master. Spiess is a Senior Technology Support Analyst in Information Technology at United Health Group.
Paula O'Loughlin
Paula received a B.S. in Elementary Education with a Middle School Mathematics Specialty from the College of St. Catherine. Paula is currently a stay-at-home mom of two children; a daughter who is 6 years old and a son who is 3 1/2 years. Born in Seoul, South Korea, Paula returned to her birth country with her husband, Sean, in 2004 when they traveled to adopt their son. Paula has volunteered as a class leader at Korean Culture Camp in Minneapolis, has served on her church's Social Justice Committee and has spoken on adoptee and adoptive parent panels. Her writing on transracial adoption and adoptive parenting has been published in various publications.
Jesse Green
Jesse received a B.A in Psychology from Metro State University in St. Paul. Jesse serves as a board member and is a member of the Development Committee for AdopSource. Jesse served on the board for GOA’L (Global Overseas Adoptees' Link) in Seoul Korea for seven years.
Executive Director Profile
Ami Nafzger
Ami received a B.A. in Social Work, Sociology and a minor in Native American Indian Studies from Augsburg College in Minneapolis. She serves as the Executive Director of AdopSource. Nafzger also serves as the Treasurer on the board of Asian Pacific Cultural Center in St. Paul, and as a board member of Korean Quarterly Newspaper. She was also appointed by Governor Tim Pawlenty to the Council as a representative of the Korean community and is currently serving her second term. She is the founder and former Secretary General of Global Overseas Adoptees Link in Seoul (G.O.A’L) in South Korea.
