Dear Supporter,
We are pleased to announce that AdopSource is embarking on a new chapter for the organization. In order to do so, we need you as co-partners in enabling us to create programs to meet the needs of the ever-growing adoption community; we are asking you to become a sustaining member today.
Although international adoption has been taking place for over 60 years, AdopSource recognizes gaps in services and a lack of resources offered to adoptees and their families. We recognize this gap through the personal experiences of adoptees and adoptive parents. We recognize this gap through our numerous conversations with individuals like you.
This endeavor is something we welcome because of our faith in partners like you. Thank you for your time and consideration. Support us by filling out the following form. Once submitted, AdopSource will contact you formally to complete your contribution.
Sincerely,
AdopSource

Our New Projects:
To meet this need, we need your support of the following new AdopSource projects:
Needs Assessment on Adoptees: Minnesota’s International Adoptees
AdopSource will be traveling the state of Minnesota to learn the needs of adoptees and their families.
Through this assessment, AdopSource will define accurate demographics on adoptees in Minnesota and
understand how to provide services that directly affect them.
Minnesota Transracial Film Festival
AdopSource would like to travel the state of Minnesota to learn the needs of adoptees and their families.
Through this assessment, AdopSource will define accurate demographics on adoptees in Minnesota and
understand how to provide services that directly affect them.
The second annual festival showcases film and art inspired from adoption experiences.
Like last year, the film festival will offer adoptees, families, and other interested
persons a unique way to view the adoptee experience.
Adoptee Cultural Identity and Health &Wellness Program
AdopSource would like to implement a two-part identity and wellness program.
Part One: Because culture plays a large role in shaping the adoptee identity, we would like to offer
ongoing language and culture classes to encourage adoptees to feel more comfortable with their roots.
Part Two: It is important to have a safe and comfortable environment where we can express ourselves
with others who have similar experiences. Therefore, we would like to provide one to one, group,
and family counseling and support groups.
Partnership Program
AdopSource would like to collaborate with cultural and health organizations, artists,
filmmakers, musicians, writers, therapists, businesses, corporations, etc., to create
innovative programming for adoptees and their families. In particular, we would like
to work with individuals and groups interested in engaging pre-teen and teen adoptees.
